Catholic Daughters Council #2241
The Daughters support Seton Home, a home for mothers in crisis pregnancies, and Presentation Ministries Center, as well as offering two scholarships for graduating 8th graders from St. Matthew School. Another activity includes sponsoring Evenings of Recollection for parish women. The Daughters assist the pastor when called upon to help with special needs in the parish. Fundraisers are held during the year. Membership is open to all Catholic adult women. You are invited to come and be a part of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas! Come enjoy the great personal satisfaction of bringing the testimony of Christ's love to those in our community.

Guadalupanos
As a result of the apparition of our Mother Mary in 1531 to St. Juan Diego, groups of faithful have formed to give special honor to Mary under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe. In 1578, Pope Gregory XIII gave official recognition to these groups and granted special spiritual privileges to their members. The Confraternity of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Matthew is one of the most vibrant and faithful groups in San Antonio, supporting many parish endeavors. All ladies, men and young adults are welcome.
On June 30th, 2012 a beautiful Shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe was dedicated in our Sports and Devotional Park. The Guadalupanos help maintain this Shrine and welcome all to come and visit it.
