St. Matthew Habitat for Humanity Ministry

Prologue:

This is the twelfth in a series of articles that have been appearing in the Sunday bulletin over the last several weeks. These articles are designed to help our parishioners understand what Habitat for Humanity is all about, provide up to date facts, and guide our parishioners in supporting the project.

Chapter Twelve:  Praise God from whom all Blessings Flow!!

This is the day that the Lord has made – let us rejoice and be glad!!!  Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the overwhelming generosity of our dear St. Matthew parishioners, we have now raised the funds needed to sponsor our 6th habitat house. What a glorious Thanksgiving to celebrate the countless blessings that our GREAT GOD continues to bestow on this ministry.

Volunteer sign-up will be after the first of the year.  Construction begins on February 29 and will continue on Fridays and Saturdays until we landscape May 3.

Thank you for helping to fill the empty squares on the house floor plan.  The names of our generous donors are written on the plan and are now on display in the main foyer of the church.  Prayer is the cornerstone of our Habitat ministry. Please continue to pray for the success of our 2008 St. Matthew Habitat Project. The bible verse that guides our ministry is from the letter of James, “I will show you my faith by what I do.”  Thank you, thank you for putting your faith into action and supporting our efforts. For more information, please contact Susan McClure at 341-9623.  God bless you for your overwhelming and continuous support of this Ministry.  [top]
